This program condenses my printing so that it is not in alignment with the paper and does not have the size it says it has. So for my 8x11 paper, the image or printing comes out as about 8x7. The print size is very small and wide.

Canon My Printer is just a troubleshooter which means it provides additional features to diagnose issues with your Canon printer, but as far as I know, you can use the Printing preferences found in OSX to customize the printing mode. Most likely, the printer is set up to print a size and you're using a wrong size for your files. When you use PRINT, there should be another menu to customize the printing process (size, layout, display mode, ink, colors, etc).

I have a MF 229 DW Canon printer. When I try to get a copy, after copying I have to restart my printer and error E 808-0002 is displayed. Please help me to pass this error.

There is a problem with the voltage applied to your Canon printer. Try changing the cable and the power source. For example, connect the printer to another wall mount power source. The 808 indicates there is a power error and the 0002 means that the printer doesn't get enough power. It should work by switching cable and wall mount source. The power might be fluctuating and because of that you experience this error.

My printer does not send documents to my computer. Is that a problem of my printer or do I have to make some changes to the settings?

You need to make sure that the computer recognized the printer. If you don't have the drivers installed, I suggest you to install them from the Support CD that arrived with your printer. Alternatively, you can check on the Device Manager. If there are no drivers installed, the printer will be shown with a yellow question mark. Alternatively, check the cable connecting the printer to the PC. This could also be a cause to this error.

Try to perform another maintenance operation by pulling out the tanks then put them back gently. Use the utilities menu and print a test page. If you still have issues, you might need to replace the faulty tank.

Try to print a test page and then observe the results. If they're the same, put the printer into maintenance mode and lift the cover of the printer. Manually and gently check the cartridges of the printer and push them back into their place then print a test page again. If the results are the same, you might need to change the cartridges with new ones.

I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 Professional, but when I want to print a text on a blank CD it says: "A compatible printer for printing CD media was not found". I use a Canon IP3000. Otherwise the printer prints any other text perfect. What should I do?

The problem is related to drivers. Uninstall the current drivers and install the ones for Vista 32/64 then re-install LabelPrint. After you install the drivers, download the following add-on and LabelPrint will print normally. The error message will disappear.
